I had to make almond paste so I made a post on my blog to show everyone how to make it. You have to try it it is unbelievablely tasty, so easy and doesn't taste like the store bought stuff. Go to http://happyholidays-blog.blogspot.com/ and check it out. I also made a mandarin orange and ate it. Does that count?Lenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13204206716673801806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6867813114483318942.post-25264680619476783002009-11-15T15:04:04.900-05:002009-11-15T15:04:04.900-05:00How about a chocolate covered frozen Banana, is it...How about a chocolate covered frozen Banana, is it candy or ice cream? I think that Brach's Jelly Nougats fall into that category, mostly because it's what my grandparents always stocked in the candy dish.

Looks like I'll have to make a trip to bulk barn to see if I can find some other "fruit" based candies. Have long admired marzipan fruits, but have only eaten them once... when they came from Germany at Christmas. YUM!

Off to eat a banana... I know it doesn't count as candy, but I want one all the same :) ~ LoriAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10782645303849247472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6867813114483318942.post-25773994390398156492009-11-06T10:28:49.789-05:002009-11-06T10:28:49.789-05:00I won a book from Mrs.B's 31 days of Halloween...I won a book from Mrs.B's 31 days of Halloween- The Field Guide to Candy! (Not really a fruit, but they came to mind) Not really something a kid would want to eat. It comes in the shape of fruit is that how you put it in this category? I just made quince jam does that count? It has about 4 pounds of sugar in it, quince are really sour.Lenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13204206716673801806noreply@blogger.com
